The trailer from the movie has been released on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day and has stunned the viewers with its bold content. Riythvika will be seen in the lead role along with Sadha.
Torchlight is based on true incidents that occurred in the 1990s on the highways of Tamil Nadu-Andhra Pradesh. The movie tries to present the modus operandi of the sex workers, who used to lure people during the nights on the roads. It also tries to project how the women from economically-weaker section were exploited by the society.
